Planning Your Project
Here are some questions to consider as you plan a heating or air conditioning project. Talk to our HVAC experts to explore solutions that may benefit you.
- Are you using space heaters, blankets, and extra clothing to compensate for inadequate heat? Or in warmer weather, are you using fans and sleeping in the basement because your house is too hot?
- Do you have a southern or western exposure providing lots of sunshine?
- Do you have very large windows or cathedral ceilings?
- Do you have multiple living areas (or different tenants in the same building) that are all controlled from one thermostat?
- In the summer, is one area of your home too hot even when the A/C is running? Or must one area be too cold in order to have the rest of the home comfortable?
- Do you have family members who have specific health requirements that impact the heating or cooling of your home?
- Is your furnace or A/C unit running all the time, but still not producing the results you need?
- Do you have some rooms in your home that you don’t use, that could benefit from an alternate heating/cooling solution?
- Do you have to make a lot of adjustments to the registers in your home to control the airflow?
